WHAT: Love to write? Get free tips from the Gotham Writers’ Workshop? The idea is to give you a chance to see what the classes at the GWW can offer future penners and poets, possibly inspiring you to become a regular at the school…or even a cyber-student through online studies. Courses are offered at 101 W. 91st St., 273 Bowery, 555 8th Ave. and 111 Washington Place. Specific classes and locations are available here (where you can also find a list of several events that compliment the workshops, taking place at various booksellers around the city.)
You should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and check in with staffers. Make sure to bring paper and a pen, as they will not be provided.
