Urbani Tartufi is a family-run company founded in 1850. The truffles arrive in New York City within 36 hours of being harvested in Italy. White truffles, or tuber magnatum, are the most aromatic and flavorful of truffles and are picked September through December. 2014 has been a record year for their harvest.
