It seems like everyone is having a sale on home items right now. Pretty perfect since I’ve got a post for ‘home’ scheduled today, huh? (Okay, I actually cheat! I write this at least one day in advance to make sure the sales are current, and that it can post at the same time every day. You didn’t really think I was awake and competent at six a.m. – didja?)
Anyway! I once had only silver picture frames, because I had it as a theme – and it wasn’t bad. But then I got so ridiculously sick of silver. And yet, when I found the Michael Aram ‘Hydrangea’ Frame ($45.00-$58.00) on sale at Nordstrom I felt like I’d struck gold. But of course, it’s silver. Ahem.

When you spend wisely on sale you can take advantage of pieces you really want, and want now! For me, this means the Italian Campagin Canopy Bed ($1,250.00-$1,898.00) at Anthropologie. Yes, it’s a lot. Yes, my friends tell me I should not spend a ton of money on a bed. And yes, it’s so gorgeous that I must! I’ve spent so long looking for ‘the perfect bedspread’ that I’ve failed to realize that the actual bed matters a whole hell of a lot in the overall look. Here, look at the prettiness!:
