0La Casa Del Pan is a Colombian bakery with two locations in Astoria. The one I frequent is at 38th Street and Broadway. Everything is baked fresh and fantastic. The croissant de queso, a croissant with mild queso blanco baked into the middle, is a delicious albeit sinful treat (it’s my Sunday morning ritual). La Casa offers both Colombian (fried) and Argentine (baked) empanadas–try them with the tangy, spicy salsa. You can also get coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more.
